To clone one of these trees, install git, and run:

git clone git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/ + project path.

For convenience, the clone URL is available as the "git" link below, or on the status page of any repository.

October 7th, 2009 PDT - Major updates Just letting everyone know that there have been some major updates to gitweb. This is a major updating of the gitweb caching code which will include some 7000 diff lines of changes. There are a few highlights:

• Snapshots should work now
• Binary files should output properly using 'raw'
• There is a nifty new search box on the project listing. It's not a google search box, don't expect perfect results.
• Backend work on the caching engine, all of which is un-noticable.

So this is a pretty big update. Initial testing all looks good but with such a big set of changes and a merging to get us closer to mainline things are bound to have issues. As always e-mail ftpadmin if you have any problems.
